Fundada el 2006, Bolivar Old Prints està especialitzada en mapes antics originals. Avui ofereix més de 4000 mapes i vistes de tot el món, del segle XVI al segle XX, així com llibres de viatgers, cartells i gravats decoratius. La galeria ha participat en fires internacionals de cartografia antiga —Miami, París i Màntua— i és membre de la Lliga Internacional de Llibreters Anticuaris (ILAB) i de l’Associació Ibèrica de Llibreries Anticuàries (AILA).
La galeria va ser fundada per Timothée de Saint Albin a Bogotà (Colòmbia) i deu el seu nom a Simón Bolívar, figura de l’emancipació hispanoamericana. El 2015 es va traslladar a Ciutat de Mèxic, al centre d’antiguitats de la Plaza del Ángel, i el 2020 a Barcelona, on es troba avui al barri de l’Eixample, a prop del Museu Tàpies i de la Casa Batlló de Gaudí.
