Quinta occupied by Mr W. Gore Ouseley while her Majesty’s Minister at Buenos Ayres

Hand-coloured lithograph representing the former British embassy in Buenos Aires, situated in the present-day district of San Telmo. To the right of the embassy is represented a beach with horses galloping in the background, together with sailing vessels dotting the horizon. This view was published in Ouseley’s “Views in South America”, London, 1852, and was based on a watercolour by the British diplomat.
