Plan de Belgrade Capitale de la Servie

Uncommon plan of Belgrade (Serbia) under Turkish rule. It focuses on the city’s defences and on the fortress of Kalemegdan, built between 1723 and 1736 by Nikola Doksat. Published in Paris in 1788 by Mondhare and Bailleul. In the lower right corner it includes a small map entitled ‘Les Environs de Belgrade’, depicting the surroundings of the city.
