Rare sea chart that presents on a single sheet three detailed harbour charts: the large plan of the port of Mahón on the island of Menorca (Balearics) as the principal title, accompanied by Barcelona by John Gaudy and The Harbour of Malta. Each one shows with precision the maritime approaches, soundings, anchorages and coastal defences of these strategic Mediterranean ports. Part III (Mediterranean, 1750), it forms part of the celebrated series of British nautical pilots begun in 1716, essential for English navigation in the Mediterranean during the 18th century. Its triple composition and the refined copperplate engraving make it a notable piece.
