Mapa antiguo original de Asia realizado por Jacob Keizer en 1788 en Ámsterdam. El mapa representa el continente asiático en su totalidad, desde el Medio Oriente hasta Japón, y desde Siberia hasta las islas del sudeste asiático. Jacob Keizer trabajó en Ámsterdam durante la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, produciendo mapas para uso educativo y comercial. Este ejemplar forma parte de la producción cartográfica neerlandesa del periodo, cuando los Países Bajos mantenían relaciones comerciales con Asia a través de la Compañía Neerlandesa de las Indias Orientales.

The map represents the Asian continent in its entirety, from the Middle East to Japan, and from Siberia to the islands of Southeast Asia. The title in Dutch appears at the top: "Kaartje van Asia geteekent en uitgegeven tot Almelo, door C. Keizer".
Jacob Keizer worked in Amsterdam during the second half of the 18th century, producing maps for educational and commercial use. This example is part of Dutch cartographic production of the period, when the Netherlands maintained commercial relations with Asia through the Dutch East India Company.
The printing was done using copper engraving techniques and was hand-colored apparently during the same period. The image measures 17 x 23.7 cm, a compact format common in atlases and publications of the time. The map shows the territorial configuration of Asia as it was known in the late 18th century.
Algunas restauraciones al reverso con material de conservación. Antiguos dobleces laterales, con ligera oxidación asociada. En buen estado de conservación general.
