Cadis Evesché et Célébre Port de Mer en Espagne

Rare large-format engraving of Cádiz, published in Paris in 1720. In the lower part, a key in 21 numbers describes the principal monuments and places of the port. This is the first edition of this view, published by Aveline “Chez Jean, rue Jean de Beauvais n° 32”. Several later editions are known up to the early 19th century (Daumont, Chéreaux, Charpentier, etc.). Scarce piece, only one example recorded in WorldCat.
